Welcome! We hope this website will help us to connect with others who share our vision of a just world and our belief in the power of the people.

Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man [woman] whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him [her]. Will he [she] gain anything by it? Will it restore him [her] to a control over his [her] own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to swaraj [freedom] for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away. Mahatma Gandhi

We are a group of people—Ambassadors for Justice—who are drawn together by shared concerns for human wellbeing and a determination to build communities in which all people feel respected and valued. Connected by our shared hopes for a just society, we are loosely structured and tightly knit

We believe that even the smallest hub of dedicated individuals—fierce in their commitment and creative in their approach, can change the face of their communities forever. Our youth play a central role in all that we do.

We appreciate the advances made in how we educate our children. We also recognize that gaps in our educational systems contribute to a general sense of apathy and hopelessness among our youth and we strive to provide our youth with opportunities that will allow them to dream about endless possibilities and recognize their capacity and power as agents of change.

We imagine a better world in which we act out the commonly professed values of justice and equality.

It has been an eye-opening excursion and as we try to transform the communities within which we live, we ourselves have become transformed.

As we discuss strategies for evaluating outcomes, we want people to share their ideas freely and without too many constraints. In fact, we learn that some of the most remarkable insights are generated and shared in small spaces where youth gather after school and unleash their tremendous creative energy.

We have learned that the work we do cannot be easily categorized and that some of the most enduring and meaningful changes that we observe, cannot be measured by standard instruments.

We are currently trying to identify innovative ways to raise funds to sustain and expand our work.
